How to Make Healthy Ice Cream at Home?

Summer is fast approaching, and we’re thinking more and more often about our favorite treat—ice cream.

This raises the question: can we enjoy it regularly and stay in good shape? The answer is yes!

We’ve prepared a few tips to help you make healthy and delicious ice cream at home.

Homemade fruit ice cream

To make fruit ice cream, choose several types of fruit to suit your taste—for example, watermelon, banana or peach.

Cut up the fruit and put it in the freezer to freeze. Then place it in a blender and blend well. Just like that, you’ve got a wonderful, completely healthy and refreshing dessert—quickly and easily. Yes, it’s that simple!

Homemade milk ice cream

This ice cream is similar in texture and taste to the traditional kind. You can use fresh or yogurt milk, as well as alternatives such as coconut or almond milk.

For milk-based ice cream, we recommend choosing fleshy fruits such as banana, pineapple or peach to achieve the desired thickness.

Additional ingredients

There are several additional ingredients you can use to achieve a better texture and richer flavor. These include avocado, coconut and peanut butter, and hazelnut tahini.

Experiment with different fruits, milks and additional ingredients until you achieve the perfect taste for you.
