The indoor swimming pool at “Pulse Fitness & Spa Bulgaria” is 25 m long and 1.6 to 1.80 m deep, divided into several swimming lanes. The pool water is purified using special German bio-products, and the temperature is maintained at 27°C, making it the perfect choice for aqua activities in both summer and winter.
Swimming or the gym?
We found the answer to this question in our interview with Dido Machev. Still, the best approach is to combine gym workouts with swimming. Gym workouts allow us to target each muscle group. After a few months, our muscles will be stronger and more toned. However, weight training carries a higher risk of injury if the exercises are not performed under the guidance of a professional fitness trainer.
The risk of injury when swimming is much lower than when training with free weights. This is the gentlest sport in terms of strain on the body. Swimming increases lung capacity, hydrates the skin, and reduces stress. Almost all muscle groups are engaged when swimming. The upper body gets the most active workout, which is why it’s a good idea to combine swimming with gym workouts!
